Celebrating 70 Years of Boatbuilding
Last weekend and the Open Yard event on the island of Orust in Sweden was the perfect setting to mark 70 years of Malö Yachts! Celebrating the various model of the past to which Malö Yachts owe their reputation and celebrating the future with the announcement of a new model, the new Malö Yachts 54.
A very busy weekend on the island with all the local boatbuilders participating in the event, there were old and new models alike on display in the harbour at Kungsviken. The newest was a Malo 37, launched 1 week before the show as well as a selection of previous models still looking as good as new. Owners and potential customers, including several families visiting from the UK and Ireland all joined in the ‘Crayfish Party’ on Saturday evening with a special presentation from the Malö owners club, Malö Klubben.
A very positive start to the boat show season with huge interest in our existing models and the new Malö Yachts 54, an exciting new project based on a proven hull from Farr Yacht Design. More information soon…

The first of the new style Malö 43 has arrived at Malö Yachts from their own fibreglass yard just up the coast at Lysekil.
