Malö Owners Rally on the Isle of Wight

Several Malö Yachts gathered this weekend at Island Harbour on the River Medina.

As soon as the tide allowed at lunchtime, the small, locked harbour on the river Medina was taken over with Malös of different size and age.  It started as a handful of boats planning to get together for dinner and quickly grew....

Malö Yachts took over an entire pontoon in the small marina.

A wide range of Malös attended, two Malö 34s and a Malö 38, one 37, three 36s, three 39s, one 40 and three 43s.  The classic transom was well represented by one 37, one 39, one 40 and three 43s.

A twilight drink on the pontoons was followed by an excellent meal in the marina’s Bistro.  The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all and finished off with a lively sail home.  Very many thanks to the owners who organised the event.
