NEW MALÖ 37 - First outing in Stockholm

Last weekend the new Malö 37 was unveiled at the Scandinavian Boat Show in Stockholm. Boasting new design features and styling as well as specification upgrades, the 2012 Malö 37 was well received. Even for those looking for a larger Malö, the 37 showed off the new styling that can be expected across the entire 2012 range.

The 2012 Malö range includes a re-styled deck and coachroof with flush deck hatches and lines led invisibly from the mast to the cockpit.  The unique deep aft cockpit remains, along with a new shape Targa arch, giving the support and protection that Malö owners have come to expect.  Below decks, a lighter and more modern feel has been achieved with a subtle style change without giving up the Malö Yachts feel of a solid, high quality interior.  In essence, we have made changes that offer the benefits of modern design and retained the qualities for which Malö Yachts are known.  We still build a small number of boats to order for each customer and like to make sure we build exactly what you want, we still have one of the safest cockpits available, we still produce a finish second to none.  All combined into a yacht that is a real pleasure to sail, performing just as well in light airs as in heavy conditions.
