South Coast Malös Get Together
Fourteen south coast based Malö Yachts rounded off the season with a sail to the Isle of Wight for dinner and an overnight stay in East Cowes.
Several yachts in the Malo range were represented including Malo 34, 36, 38, 37, 39, 40 and 43. Most boats came from Solent harbours but also from Poole and Chichester harbours, even a few owners coming without their Malö on the ferry. A sunny and breezy Saturday gave a very enjoyable sail to East Cowes and all the crews gathered on the pontoons for drinks, snacks and to exchange the season’s stories. Special thanks to the owners who co-ordinated the gathering, to East Cowes Marina and to the Lifeboat pub. A few years ago a small group of owners started to agree an annual meeting place and gather for dinner. As more owners hear of the event, it grows by a few boats every year. Open weekend at Malö Yachts 5th and 6th May
