This season’s boats in build….
The harbour may be frozen solid, the ground covered in thick snow and ice but inside the production halls the Malö team are busy building the boats that will be launched once things warm up and the ice has melted!
The first boats for next season are finished and more are on the way, many of them eventually coming to the UK, perhaps after a few weeks enjoying some sailing amongst the islands off Sweden’s beautiful West Coast. New owners are busy preparing for their first season with their new Malö, including a visit to Kungsviken to see the build progress and explore the local area. A busy production plan means we are now working on orders for next winter and the 2011 season.

Malö Yachts on show
Coming up are two great opportunities to come and see our beautiful yachts. Firstly at the Open Yard event in Sweden http://www.oppnavarv.nu and then from the 10th September at the Southampton International Boat Show. The full range will be in display in Malö Yachts own harbour in Sweden and you can also visit the yard and meet the people who build each Malö. At Southampton we will be showing the Malö 37, Malö 40 and Malö 43 Classic. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the event in Sweden. If you're coming to Southampton, we're on our usual berths 265, 266 and 267.
Open House at Malo Yachts in August
A great opportunity to learn more about Malo Yachts is the Open Yard event on Sweden's Orust island. The island of Orust is renowned for its long boat building tradition and is home to several of the most reputable Swedish boat builders. For three days they all open their harbours to visitors.
The event runs from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th August. Visit Malo Yachts in Kungsviken and see the full range, meet owners and the people who build these beautiful yachts.
